Help routes, and the words the order pages use

Where questions actually get answered, which route fits which question, and the vocabulary that makes the answers readable.

Policy examples captured 10 October 2026. Check the live terms for your order; tutorial screens show older interface examples.

Help centre header with the search prompt and the Daily Questions category menu
The help centre's own front door, 2026-10-10: a search field for finding the relevant help article. The articles behind it are the operative versions of every rule quoted on this guide.

A reading habit that pays: the help centre is the rulebook, and everything else is paraphrase. Promo pages round numbers up, third-party summaries round them sideways, and when the versions disagree, the help article wins. The storage figure is the canonical example: the storage policy distinguishes normal packages (100 days from In storage) from abnormal packages (60 days from Signed for). Confirm the category and deadline instead of applying a promotional number to every item.

Vocabulary and FAQ

The working vocabulary

Ten terms cover most of what order pages and community posts assume you know. Two of them, greenlight and redlight, are buyer slang that appears nowhere in the operator's own pages, which is worth knowing when a seller's chat or a community thread treats them as official grades.

Spreadsheet
a product discovery site: category pages of linked finds you browse like a catalogue, each card pointing at a purchasable listing. Not a document, and nothing to download.
Agent
the company that buys from the Chinese seller for you, holds the item in its warehouse, and ships it internationally.
QC photos
warehouse photos taken after an item arrives so you can approve or reject it before international shipping.
GL
greenlight: community shorthand for a batch or item judged good enough to buy. It is buyer slang, not an operator grade.
RL
redlight: the opposite call. Neither term appears in the operator's own rulebook.
W2C
where to cop: a request or link telling others where an item can be bought.
Stocked in
the status used for the eligible 120-hour return-request window. The storage policy separately names In storage for normal packages and Signed for for abnormal packages; confirm the timestamps shown for your order.
Fill & Buy
the manual purchasing form used when automatic import cannot describe an item; read its verification, after-sales and cancellation restrictions before payment.
Volumetric weight
a weight calculated from packed dimensions using the route’s divisor. Follow that route’s comparison, minimum and rounding rules; some routes use actual weight only.
Rehearsal packing
an 18-yuan dry run that returns your parcel's packed weight within 24 hours, before you pay freight.

Questions, pre-sorted

Fastest triage: if the question starts with how much, how long, or what counts, an article answers it now. If it starts with my order, chat or email with the order number and screenshots. If it starts with has anyone, Discord. Sorting first saves the longest wait, which is the one for an answer that was already published.

The operator's own Discord invitation, as rendered on its login page. Community answers are fast and unofficial in equal measure; policy questions still end at the help centre.

Short answers to recurring doubts

Is Kakobuy a scam or legit

The contact page lists US and UK company identities, but this guide has not independently verified their relationship or assessed solvency. Published names and policies are useful checks, not proof that a future order will succeed. Confirm the contracting party in your payment terms and use the fit checklist for your actual purchase.

How many free QC photos do orders get

The official site does not publish a number anywhere we could find on 2026-10-10. Paid extra photos cost 2 yuan per piece; the free 3-photo parcel photo applies to the outgoing box, not the item.

Does the free inspection open sealed items

No. Sealed packs and sealing-strip packaging are not opened, and inspection coverage is limited by item category and packaging. Check the specific item with support.

Why is the cheapest line greyed out for my parcel

Several lines carry minimum weights: 2,000 g on two US UPS lines, 2,501 g on HKUPS, 5,001 g on UK Line-B(>5kg), as shown on the 2026-10-10 estimator. Below the minimum the quoted line stays visible but cannot be booked.

Can I order from Weidian through the crawler

The tutorial names Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and JD for product search, while the buyer-hours policy also names Weidian. Test the exact Weidian product URL. A failed import may require the manual form, but the four-platform tutorial list does not prove that every Weidian order must be manual.

What happens after 100 days in the warehouse

The captured policy gives normal packages 100 free days from in-storage status and abnormal packages 60 days from Signed for. The extension article lists ¥10 per order per 30 days and a separate 30-day cooling-off provision. Arrange an extension before the applicable deadline and confirm the order status; expired goods can be treated as abandoned. This is separate from the 120-hour return request window.

Where the operator stands on counterfeit goods

Its anti-counterfeiting policy prohibits non-authentic products outright and lists account suspension and inventory disposal as consequences. Treat any third-party talk to the contrary as against the operator's own rules.

When was Kakobuy founded

The operator does not state a founding year; public traces disagree, and help-centre articles carry creation dates from 2020. This guide does not print a founding year.

What to send with a support request

For a purchasing problem, include the order number, source URL, selected variant and the specific change you need. For a shipping problem, include the parcel number, route, last tracking event and the issue. Keep receipts and screenshots in your own records.

Use official account support for payment and private order details. Share only redacted screenshots in public communities; hide names, addresses, tracking numbers and account balances.
